Coppa Italia Frecciarossa: Semi-Final Matches

This weekend, the first leg of the semi-finals will take place: Sassuolo-Roma kicks off on Saturday, followed by Fiorentina-Juventus on Sunday. Fans can watch live on Sky Sport Uno and stream via NOW.

At the 'Ricci' stadium, Sassuolo, the only team from the relegation pool still in contention, aims to continue its dream run against the defending champions. Meanwhile, at Viola Park, De La Fuente's Fiorentina will seek to replicate last year's qualification to the final. Four teams remain in the race for the Coppa Italia Femminile Frecciarossa: Sassuolo, Roma, Fiorentina, and Juventus. The second leg matches are scheduled between Tuesday, March 4, and Thursday, March 6.

Semi-Final Matches

Sassuolo vs. Roma

The action starts Saturday at 12:30 PM at 'Ricci' with Sassuolo-Roma. Rossi’s team stunned Inter in extra time in a thrilling quarter-final, while Spugna’s Roma overcame Napoli Femminile and is determined to defend the title won in 2024 in Cesena. This will be the 17th encounter between Sassuolo and Roma, with Roma unbeaten in the last 15 meetings following their only loss (2-3 on September 22, 2018). Sassuolo, however, has lost only two of its last 13 matches across all competitions (seven wins, four draws). The teams previously played to two 1-1 draws in the league phase, on September 14 in Rome and November 24 in Emilia.

Fiorentina vs. Juventus

On Sunday, Fiorentina and Juventus face off in a rematch of last year’s semi-final, where Fiorentina advanced to the final, only to fall to Roma in a penalty shootout. In the 2023-24 edition, the first leg at Viola Park saw De La Fuente’s side win 1-0 thanks to a goal from Catena, followed by a 3-1 victory in Biella (Janogy brace, Boquete penalty, Bragonzi for Juve). However, Juventus remains dominant in this fixture, unbeaten in 20 of 25 past meetings (18 wins, two draws) and winning the last four encounters without conceding a goal. This season, Juventus outscored Fiorentina 7-0 across two matches: 4-0 in Biella on September 30 and 3-0 at Viola Park on December 15.
